1. Introduction

PraiseProjector is a worship-song management and projection application. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used and protected, and what rights you have regarding your data.

2. Data Controller

The data controller is Tóth Tamás, the developer and operator of PraiseProjector. For privacy-related inquiries please use the contact form on the website.

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Contact form

When you voluntarily send a message through the contact form, the following data is stored in the database:

Contact messages are retained until the operator has processed and archived them. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).

3.2 Authorised contributor accounts

Only individuals personally trusted by the operator are granted a contributor account. Account data stored in the database:

3.3 Session and authentication data

3.3 Session data

When a contributor logs in, the server stores a login session linked to their account and device. This is used solely to keep the contributor signed in and is deleted when they log out or their session expires.

3.4 Server logs

The server keeps short-term operational logs containing IP addresses, request URLs, and (for authenticated contributors) login usernames. These are used solely for troubleshooting and abuse prevention and are automatically deleted after 14 days.

3.5 Content data

The database stores worship song lyrics, chord progressions, and worship leader profile data (e.g. song set-lists). All content is exclusively Christian praise material. Songs and profiles record the username of the contributor who uploaded or last edited them.

These cookies are strictly necessary for operating the authenticated parts of the application. No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies are set by PraiseProjector itself.

5. Third-Party Services

The public website loads resources from the following third parties:

PraiseProjector does not use any other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right of access – you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification – you may ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Right to erasure – you may ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal or operational obligations.
Right to restriction – you may ask us to restrict processing of your data.
Right to data portability – you may request a machine-readable copy of your data.
Right to object – you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Right to withdraw consent – where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

7. Data Security

We apply appropriate technical measures to protect your data, including strong password hashing, secure authentication tokens, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and rate limiting to mitigate abuse. Passwords are never stored in plaintext.

8. Children

PraiseProjector is designed for users aged 14 and above. The song content contains no material inappropriate for minors. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14. If you believe a child under 14 has submitted data through the contact form, please contact us for immediate removal.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
